Rules for Protecting
the Rights of Authors, Writers and Researchers (Copyright)
1. Any work
supported by Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences (print, electronic,
thesis and research projects) must be used based on the law and by mentioning
the reference.
2. Copying or
reproducing (temporary storage) of electronic and printed works published
inside and outside the university are the exclusive rights of owner(s) of the
work and should be made be carried out with their permission.
3. Obtaining
written consent from the owner(s) of the non-Farsi works is necessary for
translating them into Farsi and presenting them to the publication center to
determine the rating of the book. Otherwise, the translated book will not be
ranked.
4. Access of users
to the main text of the e-books published by Kermanshah University of Medical
Sciences before purchasing the book is against the copyright laws.
5. Access of
users to the text of the final report and design letters of approved research
projects in the web-based information and research management system of
Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences is against the copyright laws.
6. Taking photos
of dissertations with any possible means and copying more than the first 15
pages in the central library and libraries affiliated to Kermanshah University
of Medical Sciences are prohibited.
7. Printing and
storing digital files of university dissertations provided to students through
the comprehensive web-based library software are prohibited.
8. Publication
and distribution of works published by the university in the name of a person other
than the original author(s) is in violation of copyright law and the offender will
be introduced to the investigation committee.
9. The
authenticity of all data in the works published by the university is the
responsibility of the author(s) of each work, and the offender will be referred
to the investigation committee in case of violation.
10. Converting
the thesis into a book is only possible by providing the written consent of the
supervisor, advisor and student to the publication unit.
